Peterson Machinery Co., the authorized Caterpillar© dealership for Oregon and southern Washington, has announced that Kevin Culligan has joined the company as a Business Development Analyst.

Culligan began his Caterpillar dealership career over thirty years ago at Halton Co., based out of Portland, having worked as a Product Support Sales Representative, Machine Sales Rep, Parts & Service Sales Manager, and Sales Manager. In 2000, he was promoted to General Sales Manager at the dealership.

Culligan is a lifelong Oregon resident who has served on various Caterpillar dealer advisory committees throughout his career, including those for Forestry and Track-Type Tractors. As a member of the board of directors with the Asphalt Pavement Association of Oregon from 2003 to 2006, Culligan represented the interests of the asphalt paving industry and promoted the use of asphalt concrete by developing customer-driven programs to enhance quality and excellence in all aspects of asphalt technology.

In addition to his professional achievements, Culligan is a noteworthy athlete who attended the University of Oregon on a full football scholarship. He later served as an assistant coach to the team.
