SAMPLE RETURN METHOD
Our fluid analysis programs allow you to ship your samples:
POSTAGE PAID KITS: You have the option to choose kits that include a prepaid mailer for shipment to the lab from anywhere in the United States. Simply drop your package into any mailbox!
UNPAID POSTAGE KITS: This reduced-cost kit is great for local customers who regularly visit their Peterson dealer—or take advantage of bulk shipping on multiple samples.
DROP OFF AT A NEARBY BRANCH: Peterson offers nineteen convenient locations. Drop your sample at the one most convenient to you.
REPORT OPTIONS
You can choose how you want your reports routed: to one or more locations, all reports, or REDs only.

REPORT FORMAT
Our Fluid Analysis reports display all machine and customer information, recommendations and sampling history in a concise, easy-to-understand format.
SAMPLING OPTIONS
You can draw your fluid using our convenient vacuum pump or through the live port installed on your component. When using a sampling test port, can easily draw fluid from your machine's compartments using our KPB4 Probe, available from your Peterson dealer.

Using an Oil Valve Probe
This sampling method requires a Brass Probe (KP4B) and approximately six inches of tubing. If you are sampling several compartments, begin with the cleaner systems, usually the hydraulic system, then the transmission or steering system, and finally the engine system... Click here to read more.
Using Vacuum Extraction
The sampling method requires a Sample Vacuum Pump. Use this method for pressurized systems not equipped with sampling valves.
