The course will help you understand the multiplex system present in today’s new machines and trucks. Technicians are often unable to make diagnostic software communicate with engine control modules or other electronic control units; this course will show you how to troubleshoot the data link.

Matt Torrence is a certified Caterpillar and International factory-certified instructor with forty years of experience. He teaches the Navistar instructor-led courses and the Caterpillar engine courses at Peterson University, including International HVAC, CV introduction, A26 & N13 engine repair and troubleshooting, and International Diamond Logic builder diagnostics and programming. Matt also teaches the Caterpillar performance diagnostics course and serves as a Technical Communicator.
