TEPS - How Do I Reset My Password?

  1. Go to https://login.cat.com and click the Forgot Password link and follow the instructions to self-reset your password.
  2. Select 'send code to business email'
  3. Open email, copy and paste numeric verification code into Corporate Web Security Screen.
  4. Once prompted, enter your existing password twice on the screen.
  5. Log out by clicking the 'X' in the top right of the Corporate Web Security screen.

You may need to wait five minutes for your new password to replicate across all Caterpillar servers before logging back into SIS. Please close any open Caterpillar programs before attempting to log back in.

Can I have someone in my company monitor Parts.Cat.com activity?

Yes, you can have one person in your company act as the purchasing manager and approve all orders before they are transmitted to us. This person will also have the ability to check past orders under our PartStore Document Review online application.

I would like to sign up for Parts.Cat.com What is required?

If you have a Peterson account, you will need your Peterson account number and a valid email address. If you do not have a Peterson account, you will need a credit card and a valid email address.

Who do I contact if I need to change the details of my parts order, such as adding shipping instructions?

What time do I need to place my Parts.Cat.com order by to have it processed the same day?

Customers in California must place their order by 5:30pm, and customers in Oregon and Washington must place their order by 4:30pm to have it processed that day.

How can the required field “Requested by Date” be utilized to save shipping costs?

Telling us when you need a specific parts order can help Peterson ensure you do not incur excessive freight charges when parts are being sourced outside our home depot. Cat has realigned their distribution strategy with our new “home depot” warehouses now in place in Bakersfield and Spokane. The good news is that there are bigger warehouses closer to you. Can multiple people have a log in?

Yes, we can set up multiple accounts per company. Each individual user must have their own login.

Yes, we accept MasterCard and Visa.

When I access parts information, am I required to enter a serial number before I can continue on to SIS 2.0?

A full serial number is recommended. You can still look up information with a serial number prefix or model number.

I have backordered parts on an order that states "Contact Dealer" as availability. What should I do to ensure I will receive them when I need them?
